Litter Legion Block Ambassador
Want to help keep your corner of Hell’s Kitchen clean, but can’t always make it to our group cleanups? Our new Block Ambassador Program gives you the tools to tackle litter on your own schedule — whether you have 10 minutes to spare or want to give your block a more thorough cleanup.
As an Ambassador, you’ll choose the block or blocks you’d like to help look after. We’ll add claimed blocks to the map below, making it easy to see our growing network of neighborhood volunteers.
You’ll also receive a Litter Legion Picker Pack with everything you need to get started:

Your pack is yours to keep, so whenever you spot litter piling up, you’ll be ready to head out and help.
After each cleanup, we’ll ask you to send us a quick update about what you collected. This helps us track our impact across the neighborhood. Ambassadors will also be invited to a dedicated WhatsApp group where they can share updates and photos, connect with other volunteers and stay informed about what’s happening around Hell’s Kitchen.
There’s no set cleanup schedule. The goal is simply to have more neighbors looking after more blocks, more often.

Every bag counts! After cleaning your block, take a minute to submit a quick report and let us know what you collected. Your updates help us track the impact Litter Legion Ambassadors are making across Hell’s Kitchen — and celebrate everything we’re accomplishing together.

Student Cleanups
Litter Legion has partnered with local public schools including Beacon High School and the High School for Environmental Studies.
Our school programming is limited to locations within Hell's Kitchen.

Corporate Cleanups
We offer cleanup events for corporate groups for a fee which helps support our ongoing volunteer efforts.
Events can be scheduled anywhere in Manhattan with a maximum of 25 people. All tools and supplies are provided as well as photos during the event and a post-cleanup impact report.
